Jason Gilbert, M.A., B.C.B.A.- Executive Director

Jason’s interest in Applied Behavior Analysis began in high school while working with a family friend on the Autism Spectrum. Since then, Jason has always strived to improve the lives of the children he works with and their families. He completed his undergraduate work in Psychology at CSU Chico while gaining practical experience by working as a 1:1 behavior technician in an in-home setting. He then completed his Masters in 2011 and became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in 2012. Jason has worked in a variety of settings, including in-home with families, center-based programs, in schools, and group homes. Jason opened Wellspring Behavior Consulting in 2015 with the hopes of further improving the lives of children. He continues to work diligently to refine and adapt his service delivery in an ever-growing field.

Julia Gilbert, M.A., B.C.B.A.- Associate Director

Julia has always had an interest in working with children and she explored many options prior to discovering the science of Applied Behavior Analysis. Throughout high school, Julia gained experience working with children in daycare and classroom settings, which continued into her early college years. While completing her undergraduate degree at UC Davis, Julia began working as a behavior technician for children on the Autism Spectrum and was immediately drawn to how ABA could help improve the lives of the children she was working with. After graduating from UC Davis, Julia pursued her Master’s degree and became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in 2009. Over the years, Julia has continued to work with individuals and families with the goal of helping them achieve the skills that will help them advance in life. Julia joined Jason in opening Wellspring Behavior Consulting with the vision of continuing to help families through the technology of ABA with an individualized, humanistic approach.
